Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.
Pascal Desroches has been one of our directors since January 2017. Since 2014, Mr. Desroches has served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (Turner), a Time Warner Company and a global media and entertainment company. Mr. Desroches is also responsible for Turner’s global technology, security and facilities organizations. Previously, he served as the senior vice president and controller of Time Warner Inc. from 2007 to 2014. Prior to joining Time Warner Inc., Mr. Desroches was a partner of KPMG LLP from 1986 to 2001. Mr. Desroches also served as a fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant at the SEC from 1998 to 2000. Mr. Desroches received a BS in accounting with honors from St. John’s University, and an MBA from Columbia University. Mr. Desroches is a New York State Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He was also a member of AICPA’s Accounting Standards Executive Committee from September 2004 through September 2007. Mr. Desroches is on the board of directors of New Alternatives for Children and Prep for Prep, a member of the board of advisors at St. John’s University’s Peter J. Tobin College of Business, and a member of the Advisory Board of Columbia University’s Institute for Tele-Information. Mr. Desroches is also on the board of directors of the Borough of Manhattan Community College Foundation. Mr. Desroches is an experienced business leader with substantial expertise and over 30 years of experience in audit, accounting and finance, and brings an understanding of large organizations and the financial aspects of our industry and business.
