DaVita acquired Downriver Centers, Inc. located in Allen Park, Michigan. Ram Prasad, M.D. is the Medical Director of the center which serves approximately 150 patients. This acquisition further strengthens DaVita's presence in southeastern Michigan and will continue to provide quality care to its patients.
DaVita also acquired a center from East Georgia Regional Dialysis, L.L.C in Statesboro, Georgia. This center serves approximately 60 patients and complements DaVita's existing center in Statesboro. James Bazemore, M.D. is serving as the Medical Director of this center.
Comprehensive Renal Care of Northlake, L.L.C. sold its dialysis center in Tucker, Georgia to DaVita. This center serves approximately 60 patients, and, with Saied Murphy, M.D. as Medical Director, adds to DaVita's presence in Atlanta.
Finally, DaVita acquired Orleans Metropolitan Dialysis Clinic, LLC, located in New Orleans, LA. Luis Uribe, M.D. is the Medical Director of the recently opened center.
